I create art to process and understand the world. It extends how I see things, turning feelings and experience into tangible form I enjoy.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favourite art to create is meaningful yet playful and colourful work that embraces human touch and imperfection. I am drawn to experimentation rather than a single style. I prefer to learn, evolve, and explore different approaches across mediums, techniques, and processes.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration primarily through lived experience, such as places I visit, people around me, and my own emotions. I am also influenced by various forms of media I engage with. My work often comes from combining these inputs with curiosity and personal reflection.
What would you do with $25,000?There are several ways I would use the funds. I would develop a small-scale independent practice in collaboration with other artists, focusing on creating experimental work driven by artistic intent rather than commercial pressure. I would also use part of the support to travel, broaden my experiences, and undertake courses to expand both my technical and conceptual practice.
