I like to create art that speaks to the masses. Art that sines light on Inequality, injustice, and the unfairness of the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create art that tells the story of migration, identity, and resilience—giving voice to the human spirit in the search for dignity and belonging.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the day-to-day struggles of people—especially those who are unseen and overlooked. I create art that shines a light on their lives, their resilience, and their humanity. My work is rooted in noticing those society often ignores, the ones present in every corner yet rarely acknowledged. If my art only serves those who are already visible and comfortable, then its purpose is diminished; I create to center those who are not.
What would you do with $25,000?If I’m fortunate enough to receive the $25,000, I would use it in three meaningful ways. First, to continue creating art that reflects the stories and struggles I am committed to telling. Second, to produce and share that work through exhibitions—because art that isn’t seen can feel like it doesn’t exist, and I believe deeply in bringing it to people, wherever they are. And third, to contribute toward my children’s college education.
