I create to address the unfairness that women have been pushed to live for centuries under the patriarchal system.

I enjoy making activist/political feminist art that speak for women, to women and about women. Violence against women has become a cultural norm, a silent violence that takes away thousands of women's lives per year around the world. Women do not share identical experiences, yet survival remains a common language of womanhood. My work is rooted in material experimentation, using wire and textiles to evoke both vulnerability and restraint. Visceral, unstable materials mirror the fragility impose
Where do you find inspiration?I am a Peruvian artist shaped by machismo and colonial legacies, my work emerges from lived experience and intergenerational testimony. I center Peruvian women whose marginalization exposes the intersections of race, class, gender, and state neglect. My work is rooted in material experimentation, using wire and textiles to evoke both vulnerability and restraint. Visceral, unstable materials mirror the fragility imposed on women’s bodies.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to make more feminist art and go to art residencies to improve my skills and share with other artists around the world. Nowadays, Art should defend and support vulnerable communities, should communicate or show the injustices that others suffer and the exchanges between communities, artists or organizations should elevate the debates for our life equality. In 2026, women still fighting for some life dignity and with more feminist art that could make an space for women to speak up.
