I love art because it transforms pain into beauty, silence into a voice, and my soul into colors that tell a story.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite form of art is the one where I can be completely free: painting and writing. Through clothing, I bring to life stories brimming with culture and vitality; yet, in writing, I discover my deepest voice. Writing allows me to heal, to express what I feel, and to transform my experiences into strength. If I must choose, my favorite art is the one that allows me to be myself without limits—where color speaks and words feel.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration stems from everything I have lived through: from the pain that taught me to be strong, from the love that sustains me, and from my faith in God, who guides me. I find ideas in my wounds, in my history, in the streets, in culture, and in every emotion I refuse to silence. I create from reality—from what I felt, what I lost, and what I continue to build. My art lives on because I am still healing.
What would you do with $25,000?If I win the $25,000, I would strengthen the collection of painted clothing I have already started, taking it to the next level with more pieces and purposeful exhibitions. I would transform every event into a platform to raise funds that support children in discovering art, while also contributing to mental health initiatives and the fight against cancer. My vision is for my art not merely to be seen, but to transform lives and create real opportunities.
