I create art because I love it and it acts as a meditation for me at times.

I like to create freeform surreal illustrations. I allow my mind to flow naturally through my pens with no specific direction or intent. An example would be my two 30ft long scrolls which are created utilizing this very concept of freedom. Doing this helps me to push through my own perceived limitations of what I can do. I also love sequential art, I’ve always had a dream to create my own comic book one day based on one of many stories I have been developing since high school.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the music I listen to. Bands like Tool, Radiohead, Haggard, or similar types of music get me in the right headspace. So far, my style has been influenced by artists like Geoff Darrow (the reason I explored the use of technical pens), Todd McFarlane, Frank Quietly, and the late Kim Jung Gi, to name a few.
What would you do with $25,000?I think, like most artists, I would pay some debts to free myself up to create more art. But the majority would be directly invested into my art and future projects, one specifically being my dream to finally bring one of my stories to life.
