I always wanted to be an artist from my childhood, it helps me to be more confident, creative and focused.

My artwork presents a striking and thoughtfully executed portrait that reflects my patience, attention to detail, and growing command of line work. I approached this piece with a focus on using fine, deliberate strokes to build form and texture rather than relying on heavy shading or color. This choice gives the portrait a clean and structured quality, where every line plays a role in shaping the overall image. I also see the potential to experiment more with line weight to create more depth.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in fellow artists and their unique styles, as observing how others approach their work pushes me to think differently about my own. Seeing the variety in techniques, whether it’s bold line work, delicate detailing, or creative use of patterns, motivates me to experiment and refine my own process. I’m especially drawn to how different artists interpret the same subject in completely different ways, which reminds me that there’s no single “right” way to create art.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000 as an international student facing financial hardship due to floods that have severely impacted my family’s agricultural income over the past two years, I would use it as a foundation to stabilize my life and create a more secure future. My first priority would be covering essential expenses such as tuition, rent, food, and any outstanding fees, ensuring that I can continue my education without constant stress or the risk of interruption.
