I create textile art that embodies transformation. As an immigrant woman, my work is rooted in resilience, reinvention, and the courage to begin again. Through fibers and form, I weave stories of identity, strength, and becoming—turning life experiences into tangible pieces that invite connection, healing, and empowerment.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my journey—moving across countries, rebuilding my life, and rediscovering my voice through art. I’m inspired by transformation, by the strength of women, by nature, and by the quiet moments where everything begins again. Each piece I create is born from lived experience and the belief that we can always reinvent ourselves.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to expand my work as an immigrant artist and create spaces where art becomes a tool for transformation. I want to develop workshops, grow my collections, and reach more people—especially women navigating change—so they can reconnect with their strength, their voice, and their creative power.
