Art is survival and translation. It says what I can’t and brings me peace.

I’m drawn to organic subjects like flowers, animals, and the human body. But I don’t try to capture how they look. I draw how they feel. My work often mirrors the physical sensation of an experience, so forms become distorted, layered, or repetitive, like the body trying to process things it doesn’t fully understand.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m most inspired by the way that life changes. I’m interested in the moments that pass quickly but leave a lasting imprint. A lot of my work comes from trying to preserve those fleeting emotional states, even when they’re uncomfortable, because I believe that’s where meaning lives.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to pay for my next three years of school in forensic science.
