I love to create art because it's soothing to the soul and pleasing to the eye. It's meditation in a tube of paint and a colorful palette.

My favorite type of art to create are portraits. I love to paint faces of people and animals and try to capture a moment. I find it challenging to create a likeness of what I see. I enjoy the process of getting to the finish.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is everywhere and I strive to capture ideas when they come. Like taking a photo, or writing down the idea so I won't forget it because inspiration can be very fleeting. If you don't harness it, somebody else will.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000 I would build a home studio and hold classes for anyone who wants to learn to paint or experiment with other art forms. There are so many different ways to be an artist besides painting. The imagination is limitless and great minds are endlessly creative. Creativity is definitely sparked when you are around like-minded individuals. That would be my dream.
