I have always considered myself to be bad at being human and I’ve told myself what I do isnt enough. I create art to prove myself wrong

I love doing hyper realism with my paper and mechanical pencil. What I love about having the ability to do hyper realism drawings is that I can make a serious looking subject with a silly twist to it. My goal is to have the viewer be entranced by the extremely fine detail and at the same time be able to laugh at the concept. I feel like with realism art it is purely based on how realistic it is so I draw these funky ideas to hopefully push against that perception and bring a comedic relief to it
Where do you find inspiration? Its vague but I am inspired by everything. I believe everything has the chance to be art. Everything I see, feel, and hear can pop into my head as an image with an artsy or silly twist thrown into the idea. Though only a few standout ones make it to the end of my day. Words, feelings, and memories made from my close ones are normally the ones that stick to me. I love the concept of drawing the ideas from those experiences so my art can feel like a contribution and connection from those people.
What would you do with $25,000?Very simple answer. Repay my mother and make her life easier with the money. My mother has lived a hard life in the US and in Japan. Having experienced some of the toughest things I can imagine a person can go through, she still shows up to her three jobs everyday to raise her 4 troublesome boys. She is my inspiration to be successful because there is nothing I want more in this world then to repay her and finally giver her a chance to rest and relax with her family after all she’s done for us.
