I grew up in a colorful house with a great artist as my mother, I was always supported with my art by my family and I draw alot for them.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Creating detailed art is my favorite despite requiring the most time. When someone sees a truly detailed piece for the first time, in that instant, the person feels an impact from the artists time and effort behind that peice. The viewer feels almost obligated to "investigate" the details, and then take a step back again to fully take in the view all at once. The viewer tries to comprehend how the sum of those details can depict an artist's vision.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from mortality, the mortality of my parents, the mortality of my family, and me. I feel as if the only thing I can do to represent the love, respect, and connection I have with my family is through art that will live long after I pass. My mother inspires me because I dread the day she will pass, but I know the art she leaves behind will live long after her, and continue to prove her existence within my soul and people who take the time to look aswell.
What would you do with $25,000?Buy a tattoo machine and equipment to start pursuing a tattoo carreer. Ask my dad how to make the most use of it to help pay off our house and save it for emergency.
