Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I enjoy creating landscapes, mostly because they can tell storied histories through their geography, and the composition of infrastructure can inform us of the layered history tied to that land. I also tend to enjoy creating expressive portraits, as they capture the essence of what a person feels. Overall, everything I create is done to tell a story through the image.

Where do you find inspiration?

Much of my inspiration comes from the media I consume, such as history books and Fantasy literature. These forms of entertainment have been a great source of inspiration for my artwork. The most important source of inspiration comes from my loved ones and outside perspectives. I allow myself to embrace these different perspectives, which reveal to me approaches to my art that I wouldn't have considered otherwise. It is thanks to my family that I can continue on my journey through exploring art.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would invest the money not only in myself but also for my family, who raised me, fed me, and clothed me. With this money, I could help my loved ones potentially explore their passions while also giving us all more financial security. I could also use that money to help me reach out to the public and share my stories through the arts.
