I believe that my art will turn into something bigger than myself, and possibly save the youth.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Even though I don’t do it often I love to create abstract art the most. I like to make things that follow creative principles but may not completely make sense to every viewer and challenges their perspective…Formless, colorful, and playful. The art I make that means the most to me are the pieces everyone can see themselves in and relate to which is definitely my favorite outcome.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m always inspired by the people around me, my family, community, & friends. My community and support has been the main thing keeping me going so far and helping me believe in myself, experiencing life through others, gaining different perspectives, struggling, learning, loving, growing etc. Another thing that inspires me heavy when it comes to my work is nature. Nature is everything, it’s the foundation and proof of magic and endless possibilities and also proof of everything being connected.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to use the money to open a studio with enough space to host others where people could come and learn what real art and creativity is outside of money, attention, and material things. This space could be used for me to work on bigger projects while also helping other entry level artists gain support.
