I create art to highlight Black identities and the fluidity of emotions and feelings in an afro surreal way.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Fine Art images, from conceptualized ideas mostly consisting of Black person(s) in non monolithic beautified perceptions!
Where do you find inspiration?I receive inspiration from all aspects of life and the beauty in all the small details that encapsulate it. Examples ranging from the nature of the earth, the abstract concepts of expression, and personal life experiences that have contributed to the overall makeup of me in my present being. As long as i’m living i’m inspired.
What would you do with $25,000?My ultimate goal would be to fund multiple Art Gallery’s and Exhibitions consisting of not only my work, but of creatives i’m in community with who create pure genuine and authentic masterpieces! My practical usage would be to clear out credit card debt and bills currently at hand that stifle movement or add stress that hinders my ability to live optimally. Releasing the grasp that survival mode has on me at times, to be able to show up fully present with my energy intact!
