Art is the ultimate creative space in my life. It allows me to best express my emotions, dreams, and desires. It also connects me w/ others.

A few years ago, I began experimenting with projection mapping. More recently, I’ve shifted my focus to returning to paining (acrylic, watercolor, mixed media). I’m also exploring projecting onto my paintings to add another dimension to the experience.
Where do you find inspiration?I mostly find inspiration in the ocean and Americana. Having been born and raised in Hawai‘i, the ocean is a huge part of my life. I find such peace and yet intrigue and excitement spending time in the water. I also remain curious in exploring small town and city America and what it means to be an American in these unpredictable and divisive times.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in a larger capability projector to continue doing large scale (maybe even permanent) installations and canvas materials to create a fuller collection and enter more confidently into the gallery space.
