What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favorite type of art to create is Boro Sashiko Inspired Quilts, Wall Art, Up-cycled Fashion ware and Accessories. I love to design so to convey a message of humanity such as 'Diversity', Spiritual and many other themes.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find great inspiration in Historical Cultural Arts. I love the humble and ancient methods of creating and I believe greatly that creating with 'recycled' materials if the future. I am also simply inspired by life and its energies at any given time - all of it.

What would you do with $25,000?

I believe I would use part of it for down payment for a small home (vs apt) and the 2nd part I would love love love to open my own Cultural Art Studio to bring attention to the Historical Cultural Arts (& our Earth) such as Authentic Boro of Japan and Kawandi by The Siddi Women of India; both create with 'recycled' materials, by hand with mindfulness and love. I want to continue to Instruct small groups as I do now and want to teach what Appreciation is regarding Historical Cultural Arts
