I create from a place where water, wild blooms, and the quiet language of the natural world guide my hands.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

I create mixed media work through an intuitive, layered process that combines paint, texture, and upcycled materials. I usually begin without a fixed plan, letting each piece evolve naturally as I respond to what’s happening on the canvas . There’s a lot of layers , pulling back, and reworking along the way. My focus is on creating balance between structure and spontaneity, softness and edge until the piece feels complete.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in everyday moments nature, shifting light, textures, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed. I’m drawn to contrast: calm and chaos, beauty and imperfection, growth and disruption. Personal experiences, movement, and emotion all play a role, often shaping the direction of a piece as it grows. I also find inspiration in flowers and nature, letting the history and character of each element become part of the story.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use $25,000 to begin building a small sanctuary putting a down payment on land and starting a regenerative garden. I’d grow medicinal plants, a food forest, and flowers, creating a calm, sensory-safe space for people with autism and others who need peace and restoration. The focus would be on starting something sustainable and healing that can grow over time.
