What is your favorite type of art to create?

I love creating intuitive, abstract-inspired work, allowing images to emerge naturally on the canvas without a reference. I’m guided by color, texture, and movement throughout the process. Even when painting recognizable subjects, like florals, I blend realism with abstraction so each piece unfolds organically rather than following a predetermined plan.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in color, mood, and the process itself. Often it starts with a feeling or a color palette rather than a fixed idea. I’m drawn to the way different textures and tones interact, and I let that guide the direction of the piece as it develops. Everyday moments, like light, nature, and simple arrangements, also spark ideas that I then interpret in my own way.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would invest it back into my art by expanding my materials, upgrading my workspace, and allowing myself more dedicated time to create. It would give me the freedom to explore new techniques, work on larger pieces, and continue developing my style without limitation. There is also an artist program I’ve long wanted to join but haven’t been able to afford, and I know it would help elevate and refine the skills I’ve worked hard to build.
