Art is not what I do, its who I am.Every thought or action throughout our life is a form of artistic expression. Everything is art.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is emotionally charged, story-rich work that captures the soul of a subject—whether it’s a weathered cowboy, a wild horse, a music legend, or a fleeting human expression. I’m drawn to pieces with grit, beauty, movement, and meaning—art that makes people feel something. I love creating work that tells a story, sparks emotion, and invites the viewer to linger a little longer.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere—in people, animals, music, old souls, untamed landscapes, weathered faces, quiet moments, and the stories written into the world around us. I’m endlessly inspired by raw emotion, human connection, and the beauty in things that are imperfect, wild, or deeply felt. My best work usually begins when something moves me enough that I simply have to paint it.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it back into my art and business—expanding my studio, creating larger works, and growing my reach—but I would also dedicate part of it to developing art programs for children centered around creativity, confidence, and honest conversation. I believe art can be therapy: a safe space where kids can process emotions, speak openly, reflect deeply, and discover the power of their own voice through creation.
