I love all kinds of visual art and poetry, so it's hard for me to choose. No matter what type, though, my favorite art to create is anything that connects with others and helps them in some way. Sometimes it might be a particular poem that helps someone along their journey, or another day it might be one of my fragmented pieces that connects to another soul. Whatever the case may be I feel blessed to have made the creation and been a part of another's heart if only for a moment
Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in everything around me in this crazy world. Sometimes I'm inspired by a beautiful landscape or a favorite song that brings back memories. Other times I'm inspired by my epically broken heart or my past that crept back in like a night demon threatening to steal my breath. Life is my biggest muse, and whether it's great or the worst ever I am grateful for every breath and the art creation it inspires.
What would you do with $25,000?
It's hard for me to imagine what I'd do with $25,000 because as a typical "starving artist" that's almost 2 years wages for me. A gift like that would be life-changing, giving me the ability to upgrade my studio in ways I never thought possible as well as maybe do a photography/poetry tour to connect with even more friends around the globe. What I would love most, though, is to use the money for needed improvements to my gallery to help even more artists get their work out and spread the love
