I love digital art. Painting and graphic design. But I also enjoy lapidary art. Working with stones and creating unique cuts that are one of a kind is very relaxing. I love creating things that others will wear for years. But I love photography in being able to hold a moment or expression in time. I love creating still images of things that just really catch my eyes. Fountains or scenery.
Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in nature. Colors and naturally occurring themes and textures are fun to recreate. I enjoy molding things with my hands to make each piece personal and to flow with its natural balance. I just love to create. I have shown lots of examples of my work here.
What would you do with $25,000?
I would fix things that are needed. Convert my garage into a working studio for my stone and jewelry work as well as photo equipment to allow me to broaden my work. Extra shelving and tools for the different projects I repair and tinker with.
